While many dispatchers simply take their percentage and move on, we have your back on the road and give back directly to our communities in need.
A journey born from resilience and faith
More than 20 years ago, I survived an unimaginable tragedy. I was shot numerous times in front of my children by my ex and left for dead. But my God-given purpose was not finished yet, and God kept me here. After leaving the hospital with staples still in my stomach and a cast on my arm, we lost everything, including our home. With four traumatized children to care for and my parents having passed away a year prior, no shelter would take us in because my oldest son was 16. We walked the streets of Texas with nowhere to turn. Having walked through rock bottom, surviving homelessness, and rebuilding our lives by God's grace, I know what it means to feel abandoned and forgotten—and that is why I refuse to ever let our drivers or our community stand alone.
Other dispatchers just take, we give back
In freight transportation, many dispatchers see owner-operators as just another truck number and fee. At Compassion in Action, we treat you like family. When breakdowns, long detentions, or difficult receivers threaten your livelihood, we step up to resolve the issue and protect your revenue. Beyond the open road, we turn our success into direct aid for the unhoused community. Because I experienced firsthand the harsh reality of living on the streets and trying to navigate shelters, we actively invest back into helping individuals without housing find hope, essentials, and support.
